Scots English Colleague 's Open Day

 

The official opening of Scots English College took place when it held its Open Day on Friday 28th October.

 

 

Over 170 guests attended Scots Open Day over the afternoon and evening sessions.

 

PEO, Joe Lynch, welcomed education agent partners, staff, students and other guests and provided them with a background to the international education market and the expanding  role of ELICOS in this market. Joe also showcased Scots English College and provided a background to the College’s approach to English language learning and the importance of the College’s motto, ‘Placing Students at the Centre of Everything We Do’.

 

 

 

Teacher, Lisa Santos, also introduced guests to Scots teaching approach and demonstrated how teachers use interactive whiteboard technology in their classrooms. Polish student, Katarzyna Palczewska and Japanese student, Shohae Miyamoto provided some positive feedback on their experience at Scots English College during the afternoon session while Chilean student, Esteban Romero Duran and Mexican student, Patricia Vignati Vilchis described their experience at the College during the evening session.

 

 

Many guests came away from the event with gifts after their names were chosen a draw for a range of process including an iPad mini 2 and an iPad Air.

 

 

 

 

Feedback about the event has been extremely positive. Scots English College now looks forward to building its reputation and relationships with its valued agents.
